Ingredients
Marination
- 500 gm Chicken Breast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 cup Buttermilk
Flour Mixture
- 1 cup Plain flour
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- ½ tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
Other Ingredients
- 2 Nos Eggs
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Chop the chicken breast into bite size chunks.
- Marinate with 1 tsp of pepper powder, 1 tsp of salt and 1 cup of buttermilk.
- Mix well. Cover and rest the marinated chicken in the refrigerator for a minimum 4 hours.
- In a large bowl add all the ingredients of the flour mixture. Mix well.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces and coat it well with the flour mixture.
- For the egg mixture beat 2 eggs.
- Add the egg mixture to the chicken pieces. Mix them well.
- Coat the chicken pieces with bread crumbs.
- Let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil and deep fry the chicken pieces till crispy and golden in colour.
- Drain on a kitchen tissue.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or tomato ketchup.
