Ingredients
Marination
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
Other Ingredients
- 250 gm Bitter Gourd
- 1 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- ½ tbsp Garam Masala Powder
- 2 tbsp Bengal Gram Flour
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Salt
- Water as needed
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Wash and cut the karela into thin round slices.
- Remove seeds.
- Add turmeric powder and salt. Marinate and leave in the refrigerator for few hours or overnight.
- Wash with water. Squeeze and remove all the water.
- Add all the spices, make a thick paste with water.
- Add karela and coat nicely with the masala paste.
- Deep fry in oil till crisp and brownish
